Hi Experts,
I would use a DS125BR111 as redriver for 12Gbps SAS-3 interface and am designing a printed board. In this case, is there any typical tolerance for equal length trace for differential Tx/Rx lines?
Best regards,
Tetsu

Hi Tetsu,
I am unfamiliar with the length matching requirements/tolerance for SAS-3, this will depend on the SAS-3 spec and the requirements of the receiver used.
I have seen differential lines matched within <5mils in past designs, but simulation is recommended to confirm if the mismatch is acceptable depending on the propagation delay and receiver requirements.
Thank you,
Evan
