Hi,

We are using TLIN1021A-Q1 transceiver in our design for LIN interface. Our processor has 1.8V, lin interface is of 5V. Please suggest a level translator for lin interface of(TXD,RXD) signals.

    For level shifting the two TXD/RXD signals, use the TXU0202. If you need more control signals, use a shifter with more channels like the TXU0304.

    Hi Sathya,

    The RXD pin of TIN1021A is an open-drain output, so an external pull-up to 1.8V may be used to make this signal rail compatible with your MCU voltage. The TXD signal has a 2V high-level input threshold, so this signal will require external translation. If this you may use a similar 1-channel device to what Clemens suggested - TXU0101.
