Hello,

My customer plans to use either the DS560MB410 or the DS560DF410 and is reviewing both products.

Q1) Are the DS560MB410 and the DS560DF410 pins compatible with each other?

Q2) Is it possible to control the DS560DF410 device using the DS560MB410EVM and GUI?

    Hi JH,

    1) No, the DS5660MB410 and DS560DF410 are not pin to pin compatible.  They have different footprints.

    2) No, it's not possible to control the DS560DF410 using the DS560MB410EVM and GUI.

    Are there any details you're able to share about the customer's application?  Please let us know if there are additional questions we can help answer about these devices.

    Hi Drew,

    The customer was mistaken because the device P/N in the DS560MB410EVM schematic is marked as DS250DF410ABM.

    So is it pin compatible with DS250DF410ABM?

    Can DS250DF410ABM be controlled using GUI with DS530MB410EVM?

    Hi JH,

    Yes, DS560MB410 is pin to pin compatible with DS250DF410.  The DS250DF410 can also be controlled with the DS560MB410EVM.  The customer will need to download the DS250DF410 SigCon profile in order to control it.
