Hi Team

Can SN65DSI83 with single LVDS transmit video signal 1920 × 1200 at 18 bpp and 24 bpp color with reduced blanking and 60 fps 1366 × 768 / 1280 × 800 at 18 bpp and 24 bpp, compared with SN65DSI84.

Since commonly we only use LVDS to transmit 720P video,- will the 1920 × 1200 resolution is too high for LVDS?

Hi Joe,

Do you know the exact %blanking for the LVDS transmission? SN65DSI8x output can support LVDS CLK frequencies in the range of 25 to 154 MHz per channel. For SN65DSI83, LVDS CLK = HActive x VActive x frame rate x (1 + %blanking). For SN65DSI84, LVDS CLK = ( HActive x VActive x frame rate x (1 + %blanking) ) / 2.
