Unfortunately, it is strongly recommended to stick with the datasheet recommendation. If you would still like to push forward with this 22uF cap value, TI cannot guarantee operation as this is a breach of the datasheet guidelines set.

We have characterized the device using 10uF capacitor. Customer is free to use 22uF, but we have no data to support its usage and therefore customer must validate their system to ensure it is working up to their standards.
