Hi expert,

What is the maximum signal gain of TUSB216-Q1?

We don't know how much the TUSB216-Q1 can increase the signal.

I didn't find it in the datasheet.

    Hi Xiaoxiang,

    The TUSB216-Q1 does not have a set level of gain it can give to a system, as it is dependent on the layout and performance of the system it is attached to. However, we do have tables that give a good idea of what distances the TUSB216 can be used at to improve signal quality, as well as data that roughly depicts how much gain AC Boost gives depending on the levels.

    AC Boost at 240MHz (typ) 

    Boost 0: 3.0 dB
    Boost 1: 3.5 dB
    Boost 2: 4.7 dB
    Boost 3: 5.2 dB

    To gain the best idea of how much gain your system can get from the TUSB216-Q1, you can implement it using an EVM, testing from the lowest settings up, and seeing how it improves the signal of you system.
