Hello!

I have questions about the production date of XIO2001IZGU model.

This PDF shows that this is the last batch delivered on May 20, 2022. We have received a chip with a date of August, 2022. Is there any future production of this model?

    Hi QC,

    Please refer to this document regarding the MicroStar BGA package, specifically package designator ZGU. The new equivalent is designator ZWS.

    hello！

    I want to know that this model will still be produced in August 2022.？The data shows that May 2022 is the last batch of factory.

    Hi QC,

    Please let me check internally and get back to you. It appears that the package you show in your image may have been shipped from a distributor, Arrow, rather than directly from TI. Arrow may have had XIO2001IZGU inventory while TI did not.

     hello！As on your "Product Discontinuance Notification Details" , the last date to ship is: May 20,2022.but under the ARROW label we can see the TI label with a seal date 08/19/22 which is confusing us. We want to confirm if there's a temporary continuation of production after the Last time delivery date?  Could you please verify?

    Hi QC,

    I have been informed by our internal planning teams that, based on the standard obsolete process, factories will normally clear backlogs within 6 months of the obsolete date for material (May 2021 for XIO2001IZGU).

    However, due to factory constraints, backlogs for XIO2001IZGU were completed by Q3 of 2022, of which August 2022 falls into. The "last date to ship" that is showed is an estimated ship date, but not the actual ship date.

    To conclude, the XIO2001IZGU model is no longer in production; however, its equivalent 'ZWS' package model is available for purchase on ti.com.
