TCA9554A: Alternative parts that has higher operating temperature

Hi Expert,

My customer is looking for a P2P replacement of TCA9554A that has a higher operating temperature of -40 ~ 95 degree-C.

Please advise. Thanks

    There is no P2P device. The nearest replacement would be the TCAL9538, with /RESET input at pin 3, and a different I²C device address.

    Hi Barton,

    Clemens is correct here. No P2P compatible TCA9554A replacement designed for higher operating temperature. The next closest device is the TCAL9538 which has an ambient temperature rating of -40C to 125C. 

    I would also like to note that the recommended operating voltage for this device is 1.08V to 3.6V. TCAL IO expanders cannot work with 5V systems. 1.2V, 1.8V, 3.3V logic are fine.
