DS25MB100: Loopback path for SGMII signal

I would like to create a loopback path for the SGMII signal (1.25Gbps).
The following device groups can be selected as candidates for achieving this (with loopback functionality):
①DS25MB100/200 (TI)
②DS40MB200 (TI)
③DS42MB100 (TI)
④SN65LVCP40 (TI)

When we asked our distributors about their availability, we received a reply that they are not recommended for new designs because the designs are old and more than 15 years have passed since their release.
However, it is the most suitable spec for the purpose of use. Are there any other products in TI's latest product range that would be suitable for this purpose?
Or, even though the design of the above product is old, I would like to use it if it is not discontinued for the time being. Could you please give me some advice on the selection?

    Greetings,

    There are many old parts and we are still in production with these devices.  If there is a change, typically product folder would have a note - for example not recommended for new design. Without this note, suggestion is to move forward with any part meeting your application.

    Thank you for answering.

    It is also recommended for use in new designs!
    Ideally, DS25MB100 is the best choice.
    I wanted to evaluate it immediately, so I considered procuring an evaluation board, but production has been discontinued and I was unable to obtain one.
    Regarding the DS25MB200, there seemed to be a few units left through mail order (Digikey), so I would like to arrange for one.
