SN65HVD1794: We want to check preview item status

We want to survey a CAN tr with cable invert function.

And we found that SN65HVD175 can meet our application.

But it's preview status, would you please help to recommend a new one for us?

    Hi Statham,

    The device you linked to this post is an RS-485 +/-70V transceiver, not CAN,  and the other device in the text doesn't pull up on TI.com. 

    Can you recheck to ensure you have entered the right part number so I verify what part you are talking about?

    Sorry, it's my mistake, I'm searching RS485 tr with cable invert function, and I want to check SN65HVD1795.

    Please let me know SN65HVD1795, I saw that device is in preview status in datasheet.

    Would you please double confirm which has been MP or not?

    And if it's not MP, please recommend a new one for us. (with cable invert function)

    Hi Statham,

    Okay - I see what you are looking at; I apologize for the confusion on my side.

    That is incorrect information- we don't sell the SN65HVD1795 or 1796 and I don't think we ever actually released those devices. At the time of this datasheets creation  (about 12 years ago) it seems we were about to sell this type of device, but for whatever reason we didn't because I can't find much of record of it besides what is listed in that datasheet.  

    That being said the closest device we do have that operates similarly is the THVD2410V - however there is one pretty large difference and that is this device doesn't support the cable invert feature. That feature is only supported on the SN65HVD1794 - which I am assuming is too slow for your application. You can use the THVD2410V in a cable invert type application by adding the two XOR gates that are shown in the functional block diagram of the SN65HVD1794's datasheet.
