Here is our client function block as below chart:

if MCU no software and no EEPROM, so only power on TI TUSB4020 could possible to work?

if any suggestion, Please advise me.

Hi Lawrence:

Your block diagram will work, there is no need for firmware or software for TUSB4020 to work with it's default setting.

Hi, Brian

if TUSB4020 no need for firmware or software, so we can send data from A port to B(MCU) to test the channel is connect or not. is correct?

if any suggestion, Please advise me.

Yes, NXP SOC B should able to detect A device. what is their application?
