TLIN2029A-Q1: Logic Voltage

Part Number: TLIN2029A-Q1

What is the logic voltage for the TLIN2029A-Q1? Can it be used 1.8V logic?

The recommended operating conditions show the logic voltage ranging from 0V to 5.25V

But later in the datasheet, only 3.3V and 5V logic are specifically mentioned?

Please confirm whether 1.8V logic can be used

  • Hi Daniel,

Our LIN transceiver has a 2.0V minimum input requirement for a logic HIGH on TXD. So unfortunately 1.8V logic is not enough. You might need a level translator for this.

The recommended operating condition means the device functionality has been simulated and tested in the lab in this range. And the electrical spec table is only valid for the recommended operating range.

    Regards,

    Sean
