TUSB1002A: about (DC Boost) Pin14 pull down to GND , have any concern?

our client use TUSB1002A and we have question about DCBOOST pin could pull down 10k to GND?

schematic as below chart:

if any suggestion, Please advise me.

    It depends. Please see this app note, https://www.ti.com/lit/wp/slla421/slla421.pdf, section 4.2.2 for the impact of DC gain on the eye diagram. The DC Gain mainly decides the equalizer gain at DC and low frequency section as shown below till to part of the equalizer’s linear boost section, which could slightly trim the eye pattern lines distribution and boundaries factors.

    The DC Gain pin when asserted low will increase the DC Gain level defined in Table 7-3 by +1 dB unless already at +2dB. If DC Gain level defined in Table 7-3 is already at +2 dB, then asserting this pin low will not change the DC Gain level.

    For now, I would remove RER101 and keep DC gain floating so it is internally pulled up.
