ESDS311: Levels of IEC61000-4-5

Hi Ishiwata,

By IEC 61000-4-5 level do you mean the peak surge current rating? If so, what is the peak surge current (Ipp) that you need to protect from?

The ESDS311 is rated for an Ipp of 25A for an 8/20us surge. 

I'm not familiar with MIL standard level surges, if you could provide more information on the surge waveform that would be helpful:

Peak current/voltage, Pulse Width, Rise/Falltime, Impedance of the surge generator, Coupling networks used?

I found an app note that talks about MIL-STD-1275E Surge Protection, MIL-STD-1275E Surge Protection Reference Design, I'm not surge if the surge waveforms would be the same however.

I have a table of test levels. Please tell me what level ESD311 corresponds to.

We have not confirmed details with customers regarding MIL products. Customers only ask about the presence or absence of MIL products.
Inform the customer that there is no MIL product and that TIDA-010242 is the solution.
