Hello, I am a researcher at a Korean defense industry company.
I have a question of BT656 signal to DVI.
To receive the parallel digital signal of BT656 with DS90UB933-Q1 and output it to DVI, add DS90UB934-Q1 and TFP410 to output it to DVI and transmit the video in real time. To summarize, it is as follows.
1. BT656 -> DS90UB933-Q1 -> DS90UB934-Q1 -> TFP410 -> DVI
OR
2. BT656 -> THS8135 -> THS7200 -> TFP410 -> DVI
I'm trying to proceed like the two processes above, but I'm not sure about this, so I'm giving my opinion like this. If anyone has experience using the above ICs, I would like to ask for help.
Hi Seung Min,
The DS90UB933 and DS90UB934 will pass BT656 data through the SerDes pair. The output of the deserializer will still be BT656 data which is not supported by the TP410 as stated in the following E2E: TFP410:BT656 to TFP410
Best,
Zoe
