TCAN1044V: TCAN1044 VCC input requirement

HI team,

I plan to use a DCDC which output 5.2V to supply the TCAN1044, and also the ripple could be 100mVpp

Is it okay to use this DCDC to supply TCAN VCC? The datasheet only says VCC range 4.5V to 5.5V, could you help to clarify further?

Yes, it is okay to use a DCDC output to supply TCAN VCC. As you've stated, the voltage supply range is 4.5V to 5.5V, and please pay attention to the under voltage thresholds. 100mVpp will not cause any issues.

A little confusing why point out the under voltage threshold specifically? As the DCDC output is 5.2V (+-100mV) which is closer to 5.5V than 4.5V

Yes, that is correct, I was just reminding of the under voltage condition. There is no real risk here.
