LP5811-10EVM: Unable to connect to LP5810 on I2C

Tool/software:

I've installed the GUI for the LP581X EVM.

I verfied I have the jumpers installed in the correct locations on the EVM.

I manually measured the supply voltage to make sure the jumpers were correct.

During the hardware setup I get the following error after clicking configure & connect

"Connected to USB2ANY Controller, but failed to connect to LP5810 on I2C @0x14"

I tried setting the address to the other options 0x15, 0x16, 0x17 and get a similar error that matches the address selected.

Suggestions on how to proceed?

Hi Mark,

Could you please show me your GUI interface and the hardware connection? I can help to double check the configuration since I didn't have this problem on my side.

Or please directly use the broadcast mode to try it, thanks!

After multiple attempts, relaunching the program multiple times it finally started to connect. Not sure what the issue was.

Hi Jared, can you send one to me too?

My customer is experiencing this problem as well. USB2Any is detected, but cannot connect to the EVM. They've probed the I2C and they see an ACK, but for whatever reason the LP5811 always shows disconnected.
