Hello team,

On the datasheet, the peak pulse maximum rating is during current flowing from IO to GND. Is this correct?
Because (2) states Voltages are with respect to GND.

If so, is there any max condition of peak pulse for current flowing from GND to IO?

Hi Kei,

The surge current follows the IEC 61000-4-5 test standard. So for this test, I believe it is testing how much current the device is able to withstand which would be from IO to GND. Here is an app note that talks more about the test: IEC 61000-4-x tests.
