I would like to find the best suitable replacement for obsolete part number DS14C232CM - 2/2 Transceiver Full RS232 16-SOIC. DigiKey suggest MAX3232 series is available substitutes to DS14C232CM.

Hi Jerry,

It looks like DS14C232 is a 5V 2TX/2RX RS-232 transceiver.

Check into the TRS3232 or TRS3232E to see if they would work for your application.

The MAX3232 may also be an option: Compare products (ti.com)
