Tool/software:
Dear Experts,
I would like to know if +3.3V CAN can operate correctly with +5.0V CAN network seamlessly up to 1Mbit/s with also 10ms framing rate?
Explicitly, we want to use SN65HVD230 as a +3.3V CAN with other +5.0V CAN devices on the same network.
Thanks,
Andras Magyar

Andreas,
We have a new family of CAN transceivers that are designed for interoperable communication in heterogeneous/mixed 3.3V and 5V networks. See the TCAN3413, TCAN3414, TCAN3403-Q1, and TCAN3404-Q1 products.
The automotive versions of this family are also designed to meet strict automotive emissions/EMC requirements in both heterogeneous/mixed and homogeneous networks.
Best,
Danny
