MAX3232: MAX3232CDR not supporting for 115200 bit/s data rate

Part Number: MAX3232

Tool/software:

Hello,

I am using MAX3232CDR 16 pin SOIC for RS232 communication. We used 0.1uF MLCC Cap as suggested in datasheet. Supply voltage is 3.3V. It is noticed that IC is working up to 57600 baud rate. When we are checked with 115200 baud rate, data received from 232 to TTL is correct. When we are sending data from TTL to 232, garbage data received at 232 end.

In the datasheet it is mentioned that it will support up to 250 kbit/s.

250 kbit = 250*1024= 256000 bit/s

In that case it must support 115200 bit/s data rate.

Appreciate your prompt & positive response.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
