TCAN1044V: Packet loss issue

Hi Team,

My customer uses TCAN1044V and they want to know the packet loss rates at room temperature, low temperature of -20 °C, and high temperature of 60 °C. They found packet loss during stress testing（Tested 6000 times and packet loss 7 times.）. Operating in Room temperature, baud rate of 500K, standard frame, data length=3, data transmission interval of 1 second. Hoping we could provide some suggestions for them, thanks a lot!

    Hi Eric,

    Thanks for reaching out on E2E. However, the problem seems more likely caused by CAN controller which is software issue. CAN Transceiver is only interrupting whatever it sees on the bus to logic I/O, it doesn't have capability to determine packet loss or detect any error message. Would you please use oscilloscope to capture the waveforms at packet loss so we can better understand if the transceiver is correctly communicating?
