DS560MB410: Re-Driver and MUX / De-MUX speed

Part Number: DS560MB410
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS280MB810

Tool/software:

Hi,

In addition to the Re-Driver capability of the DS560MB410, it can also perform as Mux.

in our application we want to use this Re-Driver in addition to its driving function as a MUX between 2 types of signals, NRZ and PAM4.

both signals are 12GHz and we want to change the cross point during data communication.

We have two questions regarding the above:

  1. Is this possible on the fly using one or more of the MUXSEL IO’s or do we have to perform this cross only with channel register change?
  2. Also what is the speed of the transition between lanes?
The Turn-ON time (SEL to Output) and Turn-OFF time (SEL to Output).
