Hello Team,

Can I use following display panel to validate the Dual LVDS output of SN65DSI84

Model: G133HAN01.1

OR Do you have any suggestions to validate the Dual LVDS out?

Below are the SOC's Display interface specification

4-lane MIPI DSI
 D-PHY v1.2: 2.1 Gbps/lane on four lanes per port, up to 8.4 Gbps/port
 DisplayPort v1.4 at 5.4 Gbps/lane, 21.6 Gbps/port with support for MST
Up to a maximum of 5 MP; example configurations:
2x 1920 × 1080 + 1x 1280 × 720

Hi,

One concern I have is that the panel only has one LVDS inputs, but if you plan to use the SN65DSI84EVM to validate the system, there will be two LVDS ports out. One odd and one even. If you are validating your own system implementation, then make sure the pinout matches the panel.

The key spec if the LVDS clock speed, and the LVDS/ DSI timings. This panel is within the device spec.

Hi Vishesh,

The panel has two inputs (odd input and even inputs). I am attaching the datasheet FYR. Please re-confirm.

So basically, SN65DSI84 can configure as either Dual ports LVDS or Single port. right?

If so, what will be the default configuration SN65DSI84 comes with?

SN65DSI84 comes pre-configured as either Dual or single mode?

Do we need to program SN65DSI84 separately?

Hi,

I've already had a look at the datasheet from the product page provided earlier. In the mechanical drawing there is only one port for LVDS where the odd and even signal will be combined to one bus.

The DSI84 has no default configuration, as the I2C is cleared on power-off and the I2C is the configuration.
