LMH0341 - Electrical characteristics

Hi,

Please let me ask you about some specification of LMH0341.

----------

Q1)
What is the common mode voltage range for RXINn+, RXINn- ?

I see the following description in the datasheet page 8, VID.
"DC Coupled, VCM = 0.05V to VDD-0.05V"

Is this VDD, VDD33 or VDD25 ?

----------

Q2)
Why do you call "SDI Input" for RXINn+, RXINn- input?

As this pin cannot input SDI(SMPTE) signal directly, this description is confusing.
Is this a typo ?

----------

Q3)
In datasheet page 6, there is a description of Absolute Maximum Ratings for LVDS Input.
"LVDS Input Voltage : 0.3V to 3.6V"

It is unsigned(-/+). Is the correct rating for this spec,  "-"0.3V to "+"3.6V ?

  • 1) The RXIN0 and RXIN1 inputs support a rail-to-rail input common mode voltage.  Refer to the Input Differential Voltage (VID) specification in the SDI Input Electrical Characteristics table, which states the conditions as VCM = 0.05V to VDD - 0.05V.

    2) The RXIN0 and RXIN1 inputs do not accept the 75Ω single-ended SDI signal directly, but they do accept typical board-level SDI signals such as the output from an SDI equalizer (e.g. LMH0394, LMH0344, etc.) or SDI reclocker.

    3) This is a typo; it should include a negative sign (-) before the "0.3V".  The correct LVDS Input Voltage specification should be: -0.3V to 3.6V.
