SCANSTA101

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SCANSTA111, SCANSTA101

Hi Team,

One of our customers will like to use SCANSTA101 and SCANSTA111 products and control them with one TIVA MCU (TM4C123).   This designer guide gives a pretty good overview of how to connect these; however, we still do not know how to connect PPI to MCU processor.

My questions

- Is there a reference design with schematics as to how PPI interface has been connected to other processors in the past?

- Is Parallel Processor Interface (PPI) a proprietary National/TI bus interface?

- Is there perhaps a bridge device to convert PPI to a more industry standard bus interface (e.g. SPI for example)?

Thank you in advance,

Juan
