TSB12LV32 revision?

We have been using the TSB12LV32 LLC for 7 years and our recent production suddenly failed test. The issue is a corruption of the video image of a still capture every couple of captures. This follows a set of parts with newer code markings. Has there been a change in the die or fab that would cause changes to the parts function? We have the galvanic isolation (capacitive) with a TSB41AB3  PHY.

working marking = 29A97JTG4 & 72DF6ETG4

    Hello,

    Can you provide your schematic? Have you isolated the failure to the uC-LLC interface or to LLC-PHY interface?

    Are you able to send some 1394 bus trace capture?

    Is the failure happening at room temp?

    What uC are you using to interface with the TSB12LV32?

    Can you ship a couple of "good" and "failing" units?

    Hi Elias, thanks for the fast response.  We are sure it is the Data Mover port that has issues. We transmit a constant stream of data and then when commanded, add in an isochronous transfer of 1Mx32 image data. We use a MCF5272 Coldfire for control and a FPGA interfaces with the camera, memories and the data mover port.

    The failure happens at room temperature. We had a failing series part placed on a golden assembly and it failed in that state. Can I send schematics to your email?

    Did this issue get resolved? We are planning a re-build of some equipment that uses the TSB12LV32. The original equipment was built in 2004. Has there been any changes to the part that could affect the functionality? Also, what happened to the data sheet /manual for the part? The 100+ page data sheet seems to have been replaced with a 6 page one.
