Dear Sir

We want to measure USB signal of TUSB7340 on IBM PowerPC platform.
May I know  how to control TUSB7340 and let it generate USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 test pattern on PowerPC platform?

    USB3 defines a compliance pattern to be used for eye measurements.

    1. Power on TUSB7340. Make sure GRST# gets asserted low and then high during power on.
    2. Plug in a Scope. The scope must appear as a 50-ohm load. You can NOT use a high impedance scope probe.
    3. TUSB7340 should sent a compliance pattern.

    The TUSB7340 will send a compliance pattern once it detects a 50-ohm load

    Hello,

    This mode is called "TEST_MODE" in USB2.0, in order to put a USB port in test mode you have to send a USB command: SET_FEATURE(TEST_MODE)

    Thanks for your feedback. We still have a problem about USB port in test mode.

    Do you mean we need to work on debug mode of TUSB7340 and execute this command? How can we do?
