Will DS30EA101 or DS25BR101 convert single ended HD/3G-SDI video to an equivalent HD/3G-SDI differential video signal?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS30EA101, DS25BR101

I am curious if the following parts are suitable for maintaining HD/3G-SDI signal standards, as this was not indicated in the parts datasheets.

  • DS30EA101
  • DS25BR101 - Additionally, as this part has a user defined input termination, I was curious if this part can't be configured to take a single ended input (similar to the capability of the DS30EA101).

Ultimately, my desire is to take a good clean HD/3G-SDI video feed (single ended) and convert this to an equivalent differential signal for improved noise immunity, which will be sent through a couple board headers and into a reclocker.  The connectors used are 100Ω differential native, and the PCB traces involved are less than an inch in total; so, I don't need the strength of a cable driver, nor the rectification of an equalizer, though I recognize these parts would work for my application.

Ideally, I need something that will maintain the SMPTE signal standards, while having a small form factor, and if it can be cheaper than an equalizer (<$15) that's a big plus!

I appreciate your time, your insight, and any suggestions you may have.

Thank you very much.
