SN65LVPE512, how much eye should open at receiver pins?

Our customer is using SN65LVPE512. However they are not sure if the eye may not open enough at receiver pins. They asked us how much eye should open at receiver pins? +/- 30 mV.

Hi Masumi,

Minimum value of Vindiff_p-p = 100mVpp, you can verify this value in datasheet's page 5
So, 60mVpp is below or minimum recommended value.

USB connector --512-------TP--> SSRX (USB Controller)
Vindiff_p-p is the input to SN65LVPE512, I think.
However the customer measured at the position of "TP".
The eye at the TP may not open enough.
It would be difficult for us to answer how much eye should open at TP.
But do you have an idea how I should answer it.Regardsmsmn

Hi Masumi,

From SN65LVPE512 you should see output swing depending on OSx value.
