Can DS92LV3241 use with FPGA?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS92LV3241, DS92LV3222, DS92LV3242

Hi,

My customer plan to use DS92LV3241 with FPGA but I can't find the information of data input mapping and encoding method in datasheet. Can you provide such information if you can recommend to use it with FPGA?

Best Regards,

Sonoki / Japan Disty

  • Hi Sonoki-san,

For Channel Link II and III applications, all the serialization is encoded, scrambled, and DC balanced. The encoding method is proprietary, and we unfortunately cannot disclose the method that we use to perform our encryption. This is why the data input mapping is not displayed like it is for the previous generation (Channel Link I). In order to use the DS92LV3241 and deserialize it correctly on the receiver end, it must interface with another 32-bit deserializer, such as the DS92LV3222 or DS92LV3242.

    Thanks,

    Michael
