I am planning to use SN75DP128A 'DisplayPort 1:2 Switch' on a design.

Thinking about the PCB layout.

Can I invert the polarity of all the Main Link signals on this chip? (p) to (n) and (n) to (p).

Additionally can I swap Main Link 0 with 3 and 1 with 2?

If I can do those the PCB layout will flow perfectly on the top layer. Otherwise I need to cross every main link pair over - not ideal.

Hi Paul,

Yes you can invert the polarity of differential pairs, you just have to make polarity swap on input and output to keep the original polarity.

In this device you can swap DP lanes because all lanes are the same, you have to be careful the order of lanes in sources side is conserved in the sink side.
