thank you, Haidar,
for me only PD usb type-c functions are important. I know that tps25740 is simplified PD type-c controller which can only produce predefined sets of voltages. Is tps25741 completely identical here, or there are some (may be even small) changes?

As for the advertised power frofile, tps25740 and tps25741 are completely identical. In a data-less application, tps25740/tps25740a is recommended.

However, tps25741 have extra features than tps25740. One is data-capable, the other is supporting power multiplexing, which you can refer to the EVM user-guide. Thanks.
