HD3SS2522: CC1/CC2 voltage rating the reference circuit?

Team,

I checked the CC1/CC2 voltage rating is up to Vcc(3.3V).

But the reference circuit uses TPS2046B to coonect a 5V rail to CC1 and CC2 while VCTRL1/VCTRL2 is low.

Is the setting correct? How to explain it for the votlage rating?

Hello George,

That switch is for VCONN driving, when VCON is activated the CC pin is internally disconnected, therefore the CC pin is not affected by the 5V from the VCONN source (the TPS2046B in this case).
