TS3USB3200: Used as UART MUX

Hi,

Can we use TS3USB3200 as a UART MUX instead of USB MUX? What should we take care specifically if it's used as a UART 1:2 MUX?

If not, what's better solution from TI for UART MUX?

Hello Antony, the TS3USB3200 can swich signals up to 4.3V, so the UART can be switched using this device as long as it meets the recommended operating conditions (please see the datasheet, section 6.3 ).
