  • Hi Masanori,

    Please see this link: www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

Typically the models for our part are contained within the product folder for the part on www.ti.com. Please let me know if you have anymore questions?

  • Hello Michael-san,

    Thanks for your reply.

I think that there is only a download of the TINA-TI application at the linked site you taught me.
I do not know how to obtain the Spice Model of SN75ALS181NS from this site.
Could you please tell me in detail?

    Best regards,
    M. Tachibana

  • Hi Masanori,

You are correct, at first I did not notice that this was a TINA model only. I can request that an IBIS model is made for the SN75ALS181 from my WEBENCH team but this will take a few weeks and will require some information from you:

    1. Who is the customer?

    2. Expected number of units/year?

    3. Expected number of years product will run?

The WEBENCH team uses this information to prioritize work because we create models for all new parts so they are quite busy. Once you provide me this information I will initiate the request. Please keep in mind that the lead time on generating a new model can be quite long as you get in a queue and wait your turn.

The SN75ALS181 is a full duplex RS-485/422 transceiver that was released in 1992. Since 1992 we have released lots of products in this application space and have newer parts that have better spec with models already. Can we recommend a newer part to a customer like the SN65HVD3086E? This will alleviate the time that the customer will have to wait in designing with one of our RS-485/422 components. Here is a link to the model for the SN65HVD3086E. Please let me know how you would like to proceed?

  • Dear Michael-san,

I'm sorry for the late reply.
Our customer is a major FA equipment manufacturer.
Another member of our company have already inquired of your product section through TIJ FAE member in parallel.
So, I have put on hold E2E communication once.

Now I will rejected E2E posts once.

    Best regards,
    M. Tachibana
