Can we removed TPS2065 Cin and Cout capacitor?

if no, may we know w ecan place thne minimum capacitor value?

    Hi ,
    We can't remove the Cin and Cout cap. It will cause noise to impact internal logical circuit that will let device work abnormal. In the other hand during short circuit it will create high spike in Vin then will break down device . There are no minimum cap value to suggest , it mean cap value is case by case.

    Hi Sir

    But i have put 1uF in Vin to Gnd and Vout to Gnd. the TPS2065 also damage when we do SCP test .(a few chance, but not happen in our EVB).

    May you have suggestion for this kind case?

    Hi,
    1uF Vin cap is very small, I suggest you to choose 47uF or 100uF to retest for this case. You need to use a probe to test the Vin spike during short circuit test and find the suitable cap vaule to make sure vin spike don't exceed device maximum rating value .
