  • Hello Haresh,

Please provide a part number and manufacturer for the LCD you  are using.  Also, what IC is presently driving the LCD?  If you could provide the portion of the schematic that shows the LCD connections with the interfacing IC(s), that would be very helpful.

    Thank you for using E2E.

  • Hello Leonard,

    Thanks for your reply,

Our LCD is customize directly from the manufacturer.

Currently we are not using any LCD driver and we are directly drive LCD by controller.

Here i attached Schematic of LCD portion and interfacing with MCU

    Also attached LCD Datasheet.

  • Hello Haresh,

If you already have the LCD interfaced to the MCU, what are you looking to change?  Also, what is the interface protocol for the LCD?  I'm not clear on what the goal is here, what is being redesigned?

  • Hello Leonard,

In this Micro controller we faced one issue for LCD drive. In this LCD unnecessary segment is slightly on.

This micro controller don't have LCD driver so we need to used micro controller which has internal LCD driver.

  • Hi Haresh,

Just wondering if you have asked the LCD manufacturer for software and/or driver for the controller you are now using.  Or perhaps if they have such software/driver for MSP430?  You did not mention what controller you are now using.
