Hi,

I'm looking for the Analog LaunchPad Integrity Ethernet SW Utility to be able to access the registers in the DP83630EVM PHY. The user's guide refers to it, but it's not available on the software page . Could you point me in the right direction.

Hi Gustaf,

The ALP is not supported anymore, but you can find the old software here: http://www.ti.com/tool/ALP
Additionally, we have a simple USB2MDIO tool for accessing register: www.ti.com/.../USB-2-MDIO

Hi,
I have the USB2MDIO software and the MSP430G2 hardware. They work fine with the DP83822EVM, but do not work with DP83630-EVK.

Do I have to use any other hardware (e.g. MSP430F5)?

Hi Claes,

Is the DP83630-EVK configured for USB access or MII connector access? Please refer to section 2.3 of the user's guide (www.ti.com/.../snlu003.pdf) and verify that J3-J4 are configured for MDIO access through MII connector. If this does not solve the issue, kindly open a new thread describing your problem & the steps that you have completed. Opening a new thread would give your question better visibility and helps us with tracking purposes.

It works when i choose 'No Extended Registers' in the USB2MDIO Tool.
