SN65HVD234-Q1: Recessive voltage have a slope rate of SN65HVD234

Part Number: SN65HVD234-Q1

Hi Ti Team:

I used SN65HVD234-Q1 for  can bus communication .

But I found my recessive voltage have a slope rate , it's not shown as our datasheet ,a parrel line with X axis.

The picture shown as below .

Please help to advise how can elimite this phenomeneon ?

  • Hi Henry,

Some slope on the recessive voltage is typically expected. Can you tell me what you have connected to the CAN lines of this device when the measurement is taken (or, can you please share a schematic)? Also, what is the time scale on your oscilloscope capture? If you slow down the data rate or if you have several recessive bits in a row, what does the recessive voltage eventually settle to? If I can check those things I can let you know if this is normal, expected behavior of this particular device or if something may be wrong.

    Regards,
    Max
