Hi,

If TPS2513AQ1 is connected with TPS2549-Q1 as following, can it negotiate about charging mode with USB device correctly ?

I'm supposing that it is impossible by interfaring with each other.

Kuramochi,

The TPS2549-Q1 provides all of the DCP advertisement modes that the TPS2513-A would provide as well has enhanced ESD and short to VBUS protection.

It should not be necessary to use the TPS2513A at all.

Is the system that you are working with a charging only system without any data?

Thank you for your reply.

The device is not TPS2549-Q1 but TPS254900-Q1 because battery protection (and Divider3 mode) is required.

I apologize my mistake.

Could you check,again?

As you understand, this system is only charging system without any data.

Hi,

Yes, This connection is fine. but I recommend to use TPS2514A, because TPS2513A is dual ports while TPS2514A is single port.
