TPS2549-Q1: Pin Location

[ TPS2549-Q1 ] Pin Location

Hi,

Customer has pointed out that, if DM_xx and DP_xx are swapped, then their board layout can be more straightforward.
This means, with current pin location of DM and DP, TPS2549 and USB receptacle cannot be mouted on same side of pcb.
(TPS2549 need to be mounted on bottom side such as EVM)





Do you have any specific reason of this pin location?
(This is not only for TPS2549-Q1, but also for TPS2546, TPS2546-Q1 and so on.)
