TCAN334: The resistor of pulldown built in of STDN pin in TCAN334

Part Number: TCAN334

Hi team,

My customer wants to know how much the value the resistor of pulldown built in of STDN pin in TCAN334.

Best regards

Hayashi

  • Hello Hayashi,

this is a very specific info. I'll get back to you as soon as I have the detailed value from our designers. I could anticipate that being a very weak pull-down, the resistor value will be high.

    Best regards,
    Adrian
  • Hello Hayashi,

the pull down resistor is obtained through a transistor. The value implemented could be derived through simulations or via the datasheet. As a matter of fact, in the section 8.5 of the datasheet under the STB/SHDN Terminals sections you can see the two values of I(LKGoff), a minimum of -3uA and a max of +5uA. By using Ohm's Law (V=RI)and noticing that the pin is fixed at 3.6V, you could easily derive the two extreme values of the resistance: a maximum limit of the pull down resistor of 720KOhm and a minimum value of 1.2MOhm.

Let me know if this clarifies your thoughts.
    Best regards,
    Adrian
