TPS254900-Q1: Is it support BC1.2 DCP? How to implement it?

Hello,

There is not clear shows DCP support in the datasheet, can someone help answer this question?

At the meanwhile, if it cannot support DCP, could I simply connect a USB switch an connect 100 ohm between D+ and D- to mimic DCP protocol, like below diagram?

Hi Nick,

TPS254900 does not support DCP mode, you can use TPS2549.
if you need Apple charging protocol and Samsung 1.2V charging protocol, then you need a professional IC.
if you need data communication and power charging then, you can choose TPS2549.
if you only want to charge a phone , do not need data communication with a host controller, you can choose TPS2513A or TPS2514A.
