My customer supplies 5V to the Vcc of HVD1792 but would like to know if the I/O pins can work at 3.3V voltage level.
From the datasheet, the min. of VIH is 2V so I guess it might work at 3.3V?

Roy,
Yes you can have 0V to 3.3V signals at the input of this device. Keep in mind that the output voltages will still be based off of the 5V Vcc with
VOH = Vcc - 0.3.
