TUSB215: Does TUSB215 support BC1.2 in Slave side?

Hi Team,

I have a question about TUSB215 BC1.2 protocol.

My customer wants to use TUSB215 with Battery charger TPS24250 which doesn't support BC1.2 in Slave side.

Can TUSB215 series support above?

My understanding is "No" since TUSB 215 acts as CDP controller.

If you know any devices which support BC1.2 with Battery charger(TPS24250 no BC1.2 support), could you let me know?

I cannot find the TPS24250 do you mean the BQ24250?

the TUSB215 does not support the BC1.2 when it is in the Slave side.

The BQ24250 supports BQ 1.2.

Hi Michael,

BQ24250 doesn't support D+/D- but BQ24251 and BQ24253 support D+/D-.

it looks I should ask BQ team that BQ24250 can support BC1.2 or not.
