Dear TI Team,

During the design and testing of the SN65DSI83, we encountered the following issues.

7Inch Panel : 1024x600 LVDS

10Inch Panel : 1280x800 LVDS

Issue

The screen is broken as shown below.

Question

1. Is the LVDS resolution determined by the MIPI DSI resolution?

2. Does the SN65DSI83 resolution setting change based on MIPI DSI resolution?

3. Can you tell me about the 10-inch 1024 * 800 panel data? I will attach the panel data sheet.

    Hi Chun,

    That panel datasheet is incomplete and missing a lot of vital information like pixel mapping format and blanking information. Once you obtain a more complete datasheet, please use the DSI-Tuner to configure the CSR settings, and make sure to follow the initialization sequence specified in the SN65DSI83 datasheet.
