SN65LVDS95: automotive grade(Q1), Enhanced Product(EP) diffrences?

Dear TI experts,

Im sooyeon Lee working in Satrec Initiative.

Our company have some heritage of the SN65LVDS95 without any option such as Q1 or EP.

But the EP and Q1 option seems to have better specification and characteristic, so im considering to apply those option for next project.

however, because of the heritage problem, i need to check that the Q1 and EP grade have used same die(wafer) of SN65LVDS95(no option).

Also, in the same way, what about SN65HVD233?

It also has HT, Q1 or EP grade, but we only have the satellite heritage of SN65HVDS233 with no option.

If they use same die, then it would be really easy to apply those option for new project.

Hi Sooyeon,

The Q1 and EP versions have the same die as the regular SN65LVDS95. I'm not sure about the SN65HVD233 but I will ask the team and get back to you.

Sooyeon,

The SN65HVD233-EP and normal versions are the same die. The SN65HVD233-Q1 has a separate name from the die used in the -EP and normal version, but I believe this is due to planning and quality purposes, and not actually a different die. The -HT and -SP of the SN65HVD233 do have unique dies though.
