TPS25810A-Q1: Actual minimum on-resistance

Part Number: TPS25810A-Q1

Hi,

My customer is requesting actual minimum on-resistance for their reference.

Could you tell me dispersion of on-resistance data?

They don't require to guarantee.

Best Regards,

Kuramochi

  • Hi, Kuramochi -san,

I will try to find char data and reply you then.

    Regards,
    Bob
  • Hi, Kuramochi -san,

From our test data, the minimum on-resistance at 25deg is 31.6ohm, the minimum on-resistance at -40deg is 24.7ohm.

Just curious, why they need this min on-resistance value. From my understanding, customer should care max value more.

    Regards,
    Bob

  • Bob-san,

    Thank you for your information.

Could you tell me the sample amount of test data number and average and 1σ at -40℃ for our reference?

    Best Regards,
    Kuramochi
  • Hi, Kuramochi-san,

We usually test 3 lot and test 30 units for per lot, so the total number should be 90. I just have a char data summary spreadsheet which have 6 sigma data and not have 1 sigma data. The minimum on-resistance I told you before is -6 sigma data.

    Regards,
    Bob
  • Bob-san,

    Thank you for your information.

Could you tell me center or average value at -40℃?

And I answer above your question.

    >why they need this min on-resistance value. From my understanding, customer should care max value more.

They must specify VBUS voltage range at the USB connector.
The range has not only minimum value but also maximum value.
So they need minimum on resistance information.

    Best Regards,
    Kuramochi

  • Hi, Kuramochi-san,

Understood, thank you for your information.

The mean value at -40deg is 26.3mohm and the max value is 27.9mohm.

    Bob
