Hi Team

We design a system using DS90UB953 and DS90UB954. The sensor is AR0231AT 4LANE MIPI 1080p. We can't get image from DS90UB954.

Can you help to check our schematic and register configuration ?　thanks

Aggil,

could you check the d/s and evm design on your sch.? pls follow up TI's design published in www.ti.com.

regarding the issue, you can identify it in detailed:

1. what is the lock status of UB954? if unlocked, pls check the cable/connector, pcb trace, clock setting, etc.

2. what is the error warning in UB953's CSI2 register? if has error, it means sensor can't output correct data to UB953 or UB953's supply/pinout setting has issue.

3. what is the reg. 0x73/74/75/76 in UB954?

Hi Steven
1. The lock is high.
2. we can't read 953 register.
3. 0x73=0, 0x74=06, 0x75=F4, 0x76=55

From the debug records provided above, it means UB954 can't get the correct data from UB953 but lock is normal. so, pls:
1. check why I2C can't work , and UB953 can't be visited through UB954 side?
2. pls check whether the imager setting is correct? it only has 6lines? pls decode the reg. 0x73-0x76 in the d/s. the line length and line count is not correct. it is possible that the imager setting is not correct.

What is the voltage of VDDD_CAP, VDDDRV_CAP, VDDPLL_CAP ? Ｗe test 1.16V, is that right ?
